SpeakTune helps users practice English accent, intonation, pitch melody, sentence endings, and voice ease. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Device and account identifiers. SpeakTune may create an anonymous device ID and user ID so your practice history can be saved. If email login is offered later, we may collect your email address.
• Audio recordings. When you record and submit a practice sentence, the recording is uploaded and processed to generate analysis.
• Practice data. We store sentence IDs, scores, feedback, pitch graph data, recording duration, attempts, streaks, best scores, and average scores.
• Subscription data. If you purchase Premium, we receive subscription status and a RevenueCat customer identifier so we can unlock paid features.
• Technical data. We may collect basic logs such as app version, device type, request metadata, crash information, and server diagnostics to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

• To provide recording, scoring, pitch graph comparison, and practice feedback.
• To save your history and show progress over time.
• To enforce free-session limits and manage Premium access.
• To fix bugs, prevent abuse, secure the service, and improve app quality.
• To respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.

Audio recordings

Your recordings are processed to analyze pitch contour, sentence ending, voice tension, and related acoustic signals. SpeakTune does not use recordings to identify you personally, but voice recordings can still be sensitive because they contain your voice.

SpeakTune is designed to store practice results, not raw audio recordings. Recordings may be held temporarily as needed to complete analysis, troubleshoot technical issues, secure the service, or comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your recordings.

Third-party services

SpeakTune may use service providers for app distribution, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payments, subscription management, and reference voice generation. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. Payments and subscription management are handled through Apple App Store systems and RevenueCat.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention

We keep practice data for as long as needed to provide SpeakTune, improve the product, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Temporary audio processing files, if any, are not intended to be kept as part of your long-term practice history. You may request deletion using the contact information below.

Your choices

• You can choose not to record or submit audio.
• You can deny microphone permission, but recording features will not work.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us.

Children

SpeakTune is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
