SpeakTune provides speaking, pronunciation, listening, and voice-practice tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we may use it, and the choices you have.

Information we may collect

• Identifiers. We may use device identifiers, account identifiers, login tokens, or email addresses to provide the service and manage access.
• Audio and practice input. If you choose to record, upload, type, or submit practice content, we process that content to provide app features.
• Practice and app data. We may collect results, scores, feedback, progress history, settings, selected practice content, usage activity, and related learning data.
• Purchase information. If paid features are offered, we may receive subscription status, product identifiers, receipts, or customer identifiers from app stores or payment/subscription providers.
• Technical data. We may collect logs, device and app information, crash reports, diagnostics, security signals, and similar information needed to operate and improve SpeakTune. We configure launch analytics to avoid storing client IP or IP-derived location fields when the provider supports it.

How we may use information

• To provide, personalize, and improve SpeakTune features.
• To process practice input and return feedback, scores, comparisons, or other learning outputs.
• To save progress, preferences, and account or device-based access.
• To manage free and paid features, purchases, subscriptions, support, and service notices.
• To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Audio and practice content

When you submit audio or other practice content, SpeakTune processes it temporarily to generate feedback, scores, comparisons, or related learning outputs. Voice recordings can be sensitive because they contain your voice.

SpeakTune does not store raw recordings after analysis. Audio may be handled temporarily by our systems or service providers as needed to provide feedback, operate securely, prevent abuse, support users, or comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your recordings.

Third-party services

We may use service providers for hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, payments, subscription management, app distribution, AI or audio processing, email, and similar operational needs. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, with your direction or consent, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide SpeakTune, maintain security, improve the product, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and product features you use.

Your choices

• You can choose not to submit audio or other practice content.
• You can manage microphone and notification permissions in your device settings.
• You can manage or cancel app subscriptions through the applicable app store.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us.

Children

SpeakTune is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
