These Terms of Service govern your use of SpeakTune. By using the app or website, you agree to these Terms.

What SpeakTune provides

SpeakTune is an educational voice practice app for English accent, pitch melody, sentence endings, voice tension awareness, and speaking progress. The app may provide reference audio, recording tools, acoustic analysis, scores, pitch graphs, practice history, and feedback.

SpeakTune is not medical care, speech therapy, immigration advice, employment advice, or a guarantee of accent change or native-like speech.

Using the service

• You must use SpeakTune only for lawful purposes.
• You are responsible for recordings and other content you submit.
• Do not submit content that infringes rights, is harmful, or you do not have permission to use.
• Do not interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or abuse the service.

Accounts and device access

SpeakTune may use an anonymous device ID or account token to save practice history and manage access. You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure.

Free and paid features

SpeakTune may offer a limited number of free practice sessions and paid Premium access for additional or unlimited practice. Feature availability, limits, and pricing may change over time.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the App Store terms and the purchase screen shown at checkout. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Feedback and scores

Scores, graphs, and correction instructions are generated from acoustic analysis and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by microphone quality, background noise, recording length, pronunciation differences, or technical issues. Use feedback as practice guidance, not as a professional assessment.

Reference audio and website content

SpeakTune owns or licenses the app, website, reference audio, text, design, software, and related content. You may use them only as part of normal personal use of SpeakTune. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create a competing dataset or service from them without permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of recordings and other content you submit. You grant SpeakTune a worldwide, non-exclusive license to upload, process, analyze, and use your submitted content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also limit or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the service abusively.

Disclaimers

SpeakTune is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakTune will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to SpeakTune in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice. Continued use of SpeakTune after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
