These Terms of Service govern your use of SpeakTune. By using the app, website, or related services, you agree to these Terms.

What SpeakTune provides

SpeakTune provides educational tools for speaking, pronunciation, listening, accent, voice, and communication practice. Features may include reference content, recording or input tools, analysis, feedback, scoring, visualizations, practice history, subscriptions, or other learning experiences.

SpeakTune is not medical care, speech therapy, professional evaluation, immigration advice, employment advice, or a guarantee of any specific speaking outcome.

Using the service

• You must use SpeakTune only for lawful purposes.
• You are responsible for content you submit and for your use of the service.
• Do not submit content that infringes rights, is harmful, or you do not have permission to use.
• Do not interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, resell, or abuse the service.

Accounts and access

SpeakTune may use device-based access, account-based access, authentication tokens, or other methods to provide the service and manage eligibility for free or paid features. You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure.

Free and paid features

SpeakTune may offer free, trial, limited, paid, or subscription-based features. Availability, limits, pricing, and included features may change over time.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid purchases or subscriptions may be processed through app stores or third-party payment providers. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms shown at checkout and the applicable app store or payment provider policies. You can manage app store subscriptions in your app store account settings.

Feedback and outputs

SpeakTune may generate scores, feedback, comparisons, visualizations, suggestions, or other outputs from audio or practice input. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by microphone quality, background noise, recording length, pronunciation variation, model limitations, or technical issues. Use them as educational guidance, not as a professional assessment.

Content and intellectual property

SpeakTune owns or licenses the app, website, reference content, text, design, software, models, audio, visuals, and related materials. You may use them only as part of normal personal use of SpeakTune. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create a competing dataset, model, product, or service from them without permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant SpeakTune a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, upload, process, analyze, transform, display, and use submitted content as reasonably needed to operate, improve, secure, support, and develop the service.

Changes and availability

We may add, remove, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also limit or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the service abusively.

Disclaimers

SpeakTune is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakTune will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to SpeakTune in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice. Continued use of SpeakTune after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
